2009 Summer Symposium

At the 2009 Golandsky Institute Summer Symposium at Princeton, participants will attend lectures, master classes, technique clinics, and other presentations by Edna Golandsky and the Institute’s expert faculty, all of whom have undergone years of rigorous training to qualify as teachers of the Taubman Approach. The performers and pedagogues of the Golandsky Institute’s faculty work with pianists, teachers, and musicians of all ages.

In addition to private lessons, supervised practice time, and interactive technique clinics, the 2009 Golandsky Institute Summer Symposium offers a variety of presentations, lectures, and master classes by faculty and special guest presenters.

The arrival date is Saturday, July 12.
Participants register from 2:00 - 7:00 PM.
There is an orientation meeting that evening.
The Symposium starts the following morning, Sunday, July 13.
The program will end after the concert on Saturday evening, July 18.
Participants will depart by noon on Sunday morning, July 19.

Concerts on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings will be held at 8:00 PM at Taplin Auditorium in Fine Hall.  The concert on Friday evening will be held in Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall.
